Editorial policy

This page explains how NexWell creates, reviews, and maintains the treatment and patient guidance content published on thenexwell.com.

Important: NexWell is a medical tourism coordination platform, not a licensed medical provider. Content on this site supports research and planning โ€” it is not a substitute for clinical diagnosis or treatment advice from a licensed professional. See our Medical Disclaimer.

Content purpose

All treatment, cost, and patient guidance content on NexWell is written to help international patients research, compare, and plan medical treatment in Turkey. It is informational, not a substitute for clinical advice.

Who writes content

Content is prepared by NexWell's editorial team โ€” including the founder and writers with backgrounds in medical communications, health journalism, and patient coordination. Writers do not invent clinical data; they synthesise information from peer-reviewed literature, public clinical resources, partner clinics, and patient-coordination experience. Editorial articles that have not been individually reviewed by a clinician are labelled 'Written by the NexWell editorial team โ€” medically informed content' and are not presented as medically reviewed.

Medical review process

Not all content on this site is individually medically reviewed โ€” and we label the difference. Key treatment pages and selected clinical guides are reviewed by named, licensed specialists in the matching field, listed on our medical team pages: dental and prosthodontic content by dentists and prosthodontists, surgical implant content by an oral & maxillofacial surgeon, and so on for other specialties. Where a named review has taken place, the page displays a visible 'Medically reviewed by โ€ฆ' byline linking to the reviewer's profile, together with a last-reviewed date. A page or article without a named reviewer byline has not undergone individual clinical review; it is editorial content prepared under this policy. We are progressively extending named specialist review across the clinical library.

What reviewers check

Reviewers assess: clinical accuracy of procedure descriptions, appropriateness of cost ranges, risk and candidacy information, whether contraindications are mentioned, and whether outcome language is balanced. Reviewers do not endorse the platform commercially.

Clinical claims and sources

Where content states a specific clinical figure โ€” such as an implant survival rate โ€” it is attributed to a published, peer-reviewed source, cited on the page. If a defensible published source cannot be found for a figure, we either remove the figure or rephrase the claim in qualified terms. Statistics are scoped to what the underlying study actually measured (for example, a brand-specific survival rate is not generalised to all implants).

Cost and pricing data

Cost ranges shown on treatment pages are approximate starting figures based on partner clinic data at the time of publication. Final pricing depends on individual case assessment, treatment scope, implant brand, and timing. Pricing is reviewed and updated at least every six months or when clinic pricing changes significantly.

Content update policy

Treatment pages are reviewed and updated when: (1) clinical guidelines in the relevant specialty change, (2) partner clinic pricing or scope changes materially, (3) a reader or reviewer flags inaccurate information, or (4) scheduled six-month content audit identifies outdated claims. Each page carries a 'last reviewed' date.

What we do not publish

NexWell does not publish unqualified outcome promises, risk-free language, or unqualified superlatives ('best', '100% success rate', 'completely safe'). Where a treatment page references a guarantee or warranty, it refers to a specific written commitment from the treating clinic or manufacturer โ€” such as a graft-survival warranty, an implant or crown warranty, or workmanship cover โ€” stated with its actual terms, not a promise of an individual's clinical result. We do not publish content that misrepresents NexWell as a clinic or medical provider. We do not publish patient-identifiable case data without explicit consent.

Corrections policy

If you identify an error in any content, please contact us at info@thenexwell.com with the page URL and the specific claim in question. We will investigate and update within 5 business days if the correction is valid.
