How We Vet Partner Surgeons: The 8-Criteria Framework
Every surgeon in the NexWell partner network passes our 8-point verification: **1. Board Certification** — Active certification from the Turkish Medical Association in their specialty (Oral Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, Reproductive Medicine, etc.). **2. Minimum Case Volume** — Procedure-specific minimums: Dental implants: 500+/year. Rhinoplasty: 300+/year. Hair transplant: 400+/year.
Bariatric: 200+/year. IVF: 200+ cycles/year. **3. Before/After Portfolio** — Minimum 200 documented cases with consistent quality across varied patient types. We review portfolios in person, not just website galleries. **4. Complication & Revision Rates** — Must be at or below international benchmarks: Dental implant: <3%. Rhinoplasty: <5%. Hair transplant: <2%. Bariatric: <2%. **5.
Facility Accreditation** — JCI accreditation or Turkish Ministry of Health facility rating of minimum 5/5. **6. Most are, but several are internationally trained surgeons practicing in Istanbul. Training backgrounds include Turkey, Germany, UK, US, and South Korea.
How often do you re-evaluate partner surgeons?
Annually. We review updated case volumes, complication rates, patient feedback, and facility accreditation. Surgeons who fall below benchmarks are suspended from the network until standards are restored.
