NexWellAudit

What it is

NexWellAudit is the web measurement tool of NexWell's clinic digital audit service. It reads only the public web pages of clinics that are audit customers or have been included in an audit, plus a limited number of public pages of other clinics that are used for comparison.

How it behaves

• Sends only GET and HEAD requests.
• Does not submit forms, log in, probe admin panels, run vulnerability scans or perform load tests.
• Obeys robots.txt (RFC 9309).
• Uses one connection at a time per domain and at most one request per second.
• Stops on that domain after consecutive 403 responses or a single bot-verification challenge; it does not try to get around the block.
• Always identifies itself with the User-Agent below and never poses as another bot.

Its User-Agent has this form:

NexWellAudit/<version> (+https://thenexwell.com/bot)

How to block it

Add the following to the robots.txt file of your domain. NexWellAudit will then not request any page on it.

User-agent: NexWellAudit Disallow: /

What data is kept

NexWellAudit does not store raw page content permanently. It keeps the measurement results and a content digest (hash) used for verification. Screenshots are taken only as audit evidence, and personal data visible in them is masked.
