The Process

Your medical journey in Turkey — step by step

NexWell manages each patient journey through its own connected coordination infrastructure. This page explains exactly what happens from first contact to post-treatment follow-up.

01

Share Your Case

Tell us about the treatment you need and your timing. NexWell collects records and organises them for licensed clinical review so the first clinic shortlist is relevant rather than generic.

You can share X-rays, photos, or existing diagnoses. The more context you provide, the more targeted the initial plan will be. There is no charge and no obligation at this stage.

02

Receive a Clear Plan

We prepare a structured quote packet: clinic options, surgeon context, pricing breakdown, treatment scope, and realistic travel logistics in one coordinated response.

You receive one response that lets you compare options rather than piecing together replies from different sources. Estimated stay length, likely inclusions, and next-step guidance are included.

03

Travel With Full Coordination

Transfers, hotel timing, treatment scheduling, and departure planning are all mapped around the procedure — not arranged separately.

One coordinator manages the logistics thread. You are not dealing with the clinic, the hotel, and a travel agent simultaneously. Arrival and clinic appointments are synchronised before you book flights.

04

Stay Supported After Treatment

Follow-up, check-ins, and case tracking continue after you return home — through CasePilot, NexWell's patient journey platform.

Aftercare is not a separate service. It is part of the same coordinated workflow. If questions arise after you land back home, your coordinator is still the single point of contact.

Your Coordinator

A coordinator stays with you either way

Even if you ultimately choose to be treated at a clinic outside NexWell's partner network, you are still assigned a dedicated patient coordinator who stays with your case from your first appointment through to the day you fly home. Coordinators are matched to your case and, between them, speak at least two of English, Russian, Arabic, French, and Spanish.

What differs is the protection that a formal partner-clinic relationship makes possible. NexWell has a contracted relationship with its partner clinics; it has no such relationship — and no leverage — with a clinic you choose independently. The table below is explicit about where that line falls.

“Partner clinic” means a clinic NexWell has a contracted relationship with. Coordination and language support continue if you choose another licensed provider; NexWell then has less contractual leverage over warranty and documentation. Exact cover is never a marketing promise — read patient protection and how NexWell gets paid.

If you run a clinic, that contracted relationship is described in the formal clinic partnership programme.

Outside the partner network the coordinator is a standalone service: $900 (£710) for your stay — a single figure, not a daily rate, so you never have to weigh calling your coordinator against the clock. It covers a NexWell team member with you at your appointments and accompanying you back to your hotel afterwards. It does not, and cannot, buy the clinic-backed protections in the table above: those rest on a contract NexWell holds with its partner clinics, not on a fee.

FAQ

Common questions about the process

How long does the entire process take from first contact to treatment?

Most patients receive their initial quote packet within 24 hours of submitting their case. From there, the timeline to travel depends on treatment complexity: dental trips are typically arranged within 2–4 weeks, while surgical procedures may take 4–8 weeks to fully coordinate with clinic availability, pre-operative assessments, and travel scheduling.

Do I need to pay anything to get a quote or start the process?

No. The initial quote, case review, and clinic shortlist are no obligation. Costs only arise once you confirm a treatment plan — and how you settle is your choice: through NexWell or directly with the clinic, before you travel or once you have arrived and met the team.

How does NexWell choose which clinics to recommend?

NexWell looks at licensing, accreditation where it exists, clinician credentials, treatment capability, documentation, and aftercare. TEMOS applies to some facilities; JCI is relevant mainly for hospitals. Matching is based on treatment type, case complexity, and written fit — not on sending every patient to the same clinic.

What happens if something goes wrong during or after treatment?

Your coordinator stays accessible throughout and after treatment. If a concern arises, NexWell helps document it and communicate with the treating clinic. What is then covered depends on that clinic's written warranty — see Patient Protection. NexWell does not guarantee a clinical result.

Will I need to travel to Turkey more than once?

For most dental procedures, treatment is completed in a single 5–7 day trip. Some treatments — particularly multi-stage implant procedures or certain surgical cases — may require a return visit. Your coordinator will be explicit about this in the initial plan.

Can NexWell help with travel, accommodation, and transfers?

Yes. Once a treatment plan is confirmed, your coordinator maps the trip around the procedure: arrival timing, hotel recommendation, airport transfers, and return-home planning. These are coordinated with treatment scheduling rather than as a separate afterthought.
